The 10 edition of the Salina Isola Slow, an event that motivates the island concept, that gives importance to the values of biodiversity and enogastronomic tourism. Salina Isola Slow gave rise to the “Salina Model”, in which the beautiful landscapes, the sustainable agriculture and the enogastronomic traditions (in particular fishing), become an attraction for an accurate kind of tourist, that respects the environment. Salina Isola Slow also supports the touristic sector and the Horeca business. The island becomes a reference for the enogastronomy that cares about the territory, realizing enogastronomic itineraries to promote the territory. Salina Isola Slow also joins the project of the Slow Islands, to which participate many islands from the Mediterranean.
